Wow. Just Wow.

Sometimes all you can do is wonder how a crappy day can turn so awesome. Take today, for instance. My household seems to be suffering from what I strongly suspect is the flu, and while I've been sitting around feeling all blah and miserable, a couple of super wicked reviewers were posting their thoughts on Seers of Light. When I saw their tweets and read their reviews, my heart just about exploded. Let me give you some samplings:

Lisa at A Life Bound By Books says, "Simply put, Seers of Light By Jennifer DeLucy is beautiful. The writing flows off the page, the characters are more than memorable and the story utterly unique – easily making this a must read book for any lover of Paranormal books as a whole."

And, as if this wasn't enough to cheer me up, Jess, of Confessions of a Bookaholic, went and posted her review. Here's an excerpt:

"Seers of Light is nothing shy of magical. The writing, plot and astonishing characters transport the reader directly into the story. I went through a full range of emotions while reading this book and I know this will be one of my favorite reads of 2011. Bravo Jennifer, I am now your biggest fan!"

Okay. Look, I know that faithful readers don't necessarily want or need to see every single review that an author gets, but I had to share today with you guys, because the nature of these reviews reminded me of the kind of connection you can establish with someone who reads your book. It's incredibly emotional and I just wish both blog reviewers were somewhere close by so I could hug them to pieces.

If you'd like to read either of these reviews in full, visit Confessions of a Bookaholic or A Life Bound By Books. Give them a follow on their blog and on twitter and show them the love. Book bloggers like them make it possible for Indie authors to share their voice.

Peace out,
Jen

Awww!!!! *hugs x 1000* So glad my review made you feel better :) Guess it's only fair since your books made me feel so amazing! Reviewing both books was one of those times where I sit here and wait for the right word to come to me because I can't think of one GOOD enough! Like one needs to be made up just to use it for this review. :) The book was THAT good!! And yes, totally your biggest fan now :P

Hope you and your family feel better soon hun!
