Writing gods, can I just be Michel Faber when I grow up? This author writes with such purity and unpretentious grace, and if you're acquainted with me at all, you'll know that I'm obsessed with clean, pure-flowing almost lyrical writing--and this book is shaping up to be something I'll never forget. Thanks to my friend, Kara, who loaned me the book and insisted that I read it.
